This is the time of the year that leads to a lots of emotional stresses which leads to being uncomfortable with life, especially with such that you have. It is also the time of the year that focuses on being thankful and giving more than any other time of the year which creates problems for many of us.
It’s hard to be thankful for that which you only can wish for and you cannot give that which you only desire to give. There is a bright side to all of this, Being Thankful in Extreme Situations and Giving the Love of God. David states, “I will bless the Lord at all times His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1).
What David is doing and asking us to do is to release our Faith and Expose the Power of God. When you express thanksgiving and praises, you let go of that side of you that wants to keep you angry, upset, complaining and magnifying existing negative situations. Therefore, when you give thanks and praise in spite of circumstances, especially extreme circumstances victory comes!
Also, as you are thankful for the small blessings, which are your seeds for a bigger and greater harvest. In other words, through your thankfulness and praise, God will multiply the seed of “small things.” He multiplied the two fish and five loaves and feed a multitude and the grain of mustard seed became mighty. Be thankful for what you have, give God praise and you will begin to multiply.
My Sisters and Brothers, there is very little hope or deliverance in thinking that you are the poorest person in the world or the worse person on earth or there is no one living like you are living. Your victory is in your praise as you look unto Jesus. Psalms 34:4, states, “I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.” It will happen for you in a mighty way as you put your trust Him!
What is your extreme situation today? Maybe, you are lacking in finances, illness, lost of a loved one, family issues, employment, family crisis do as Jesus did when He approached the grave of Lazarus and gave thanks. God did the miraculous raising Lazarus to a new standard of life. He wants to do the same for you today. The little that you have will be multiplied into more than you ever thought that you would ever have on tomorrow.
Psalms 34:8, states, “O taste and see that the Lord is good.” He wants you to dive in and make it yours. Our senses help us to understand and our eyes help us to see, but you will never know the sweetness of honey until you taste it! Give Thanks to God and His Love to others, you will never be defeated and began to count your blessings of multiplication. Enjoy this Thanksgiving Season and a Blessed Christmas filled with His joy.
