Moving Forward

Posted by admin. Comment (0).
Are you ready to move forward beyond that of today?  Are you stuck? Has someone told you that you can’t do it or it’s not for you? Are you looking at all the failures and wrong turns and not the possibilities?

Today is your day

Start believing the testimony of God. That is what He is offering you through His Word. What has He said to you lately that you believe that you have missed? Even though you may not have the necessary faith to push yourself into action, His Word is enough for you to act.

Just do it.

Second Chronicles 20:20. Jehoshaphat stood and said, hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe His prophets, so shall you prosper.”  They acted upon the Word, “then upon Jahaziel…came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation…Thus saith the Lord unto you, be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Second Chronicles 20:14,15. If you do not act upon the Word, it becomes presumptive leading to a probability or likely so.  Make it real He wants to do it for you.  When you act, you will find that new things will begin to replace old things and before you completely realize the change, you are already moving in a new direction of thinking and attitude.  Admit certain things about yourself and stop letting the purely human nature of your mind make you believe that you are pleasing God, cease your efforts and God will raise you up and give to you new life and perfect standing with Him. Even if you are at the end of your “rope” there is room for another hold.  Remember, Abraham was at the end of himself when God stepped in and gave him the promise.

(Genesis 15; Romans 4:17-25).  He believed the testimony of God replacing what was there with new expectations.  Don’t waiver because you have to wait, its coming.  Live every day in the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ and you will replace every negative creating for yourself a newness that is surely to move you forward.  You are going to do more than come out or come through, you will have what you WANT!! Not only will you have a testimony, but a demonstration with an illumination.

There is a power that is not intimidated by your circumstance!

Praise God and go with Him.
Your circumstances are vital to your faith. You must not allow what you are going through to develop in you an attitude of unbelief that will lead you to defeat. Don’t worry about the how, God will lead you away from and into what is good for you. Trust him and see everything as his divine will and purpose getting you to your place of blessings. It’s all good and working for you.

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb.”
Romans 8:28

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief , but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able to perform.
Romans 4:19, 20, 21

Abraham’s faith came from the word of God not allowing his circumstances to discourage him from the intended outcome. He was equipped with the knowledge of who God is and who he was in relationship to God.
Knowing that it gives God glory for him to bring all this about, God will work the miracle, if you dare to stand upon the word. Faith lives in a commanding position.

Lay hold on things that cannot be seen and believe the things that cannot be understood.

“And God said let there be light, and there was light.”
Genesis 1:3

Walk by faith and not by sight allowing the Holy Spirit’s power within you to tear down every stronghold that rises up against you, whether in your mind, circumstances, past failures, others, or personal fears.

These things are designed to choke the word keeping you from attaining the deeper things of God. So, when you are challenged in life by circumstances beyond your control or understanding, don’t allow negative forces to pull you down, but know that God is ready to work and do exceeding great things.

Your circumstances are about to promote you. Make the determination and claim it!

Grace and Glory

Posted by admin. Comment (0).

Grace and Glory seems to be a fitting theme for this time of the year.

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield.  The Lord will give Grace and Glory.  No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalms 84:11).

Be careful not to decide what is good.  Trust God to give to you all things and what He gives is always good.  He brings and He gives His greatest blessing and it is yours to have.  For He so loved the world that He made it possible for you to have this great blessing right where you are.

You do not have to go to the Temple or to the Church to receive it, just believe and receive and you can have this precious gift.  The gift is Jesus.  When you take a look at your life, God shows you yourself and he shows you Himself.  You are able to see your weakness and His all sufficiency.

What revelation do you get?  Let me help you; God is good! And that what is good and that what you have called bad, it’s all because of His Grace.  Life’s journey is one of Grace.  So, as you go through this season of Grace enjoy all that which in many ways you do not deserve.  That’s the Glory extended to you because of His Grace. Hallelujah!

Even though all of your days may not have been bright, you are yet here experiencing another year’s end which is another act of His Grace and Glory.  Can you believe it and see it and feel it?  Be thankful and receive the greatest gift of them all, Jesus Christ.  He is your hope, your Saviour and He is yet full of Grace and will fill your life with Glory.  “for the Lord God is a sun and shield” which means He assures you that He will guide and protect you.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!!

Pastor Robert & First Lady Melestine Garner

“Your Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my path.”
(Psalms 119:105).

Read this verse aloud as though you have never hear it before. Now, think of the message that it gives to you as you  walk through the path of life, even this very moment.

God has a definite path for each of us and a definite Word that will take you through which will enable you to break through any and every barrier that has been placed in your way.

Change your thoughts about yourself and see the Glory of God. There is a Power that’s not intimidated by your circumstances! You do not have the spirit of fear, but of power.  Be Brave!

Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.  If God be for you, He is more than the world against you. Turn every one of your past failures into a present victory.

”And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,  will of God”
(Romans 12:2).

Let go of all those limited beliefs and thoughts which have kept you from moving foward and get free.  When challenged, the Universe will open making you aware of all that God is. Equip yourself and don’t allow anyone to tell you that God can’t deliver you.

“What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us who can be against us?  He who spared not His own son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him freely give us all things?”
(Romans 8:31,32)

In this hour, this very moment, you can know where to go, what to do, and who you need to see to do what you need to do. The light nor the lamp will destroy the darkness neither will you be able to see into the darkness, but your trust in God will see you through the darkness.

There is a Lamp and a Light to guide your every step. One step at a time.  Remember, it’s always in front of you. Don’t worry, He will get you there!

Pastor’s Thoughts

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
(Numbers 23:19)

God does not change! If God has said it to you, you can call it to be by faith. Call those things which are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).

Your faith, right now can change, replace and give to you every promise that God has ever made to you. Remember, Abraham was at the end of himself when God stepped in and gave him the promise, “and being not weak in Faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb” (Romans 4:19).

He believed the testimony of God and became strong. Being without or having to wait for something ought not cause you to waiver in Faith. Let go and let God, trust him and He will come through for you.

Again, keep talking to yourself and by faith you will receive. Continue to give Glory to God!

The Promise Made by God to You

There is always some time and space between the promise made by God to you and the possession of that promise and the wait is not always easy or uneventful, but God will see you through.

“For when God made Promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He swore by Himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the Promise.” (Hebrews 6:13-15).

Exercise faith and go the distance with God, He knows what you have done and He will not forget. He knows the evidence of your life, stop trying to prove it to someone who will never believe regardless of what you do.

“God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” (Hebrews 6:10).

Abraham did not receive the promise blessing because of his own goodness, and neither will you, but because of the faithfulness of God. This is your guarantee, the certainty of the unchanging Word of God!

“God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19)
